Our Process

The Wright Company (TWC) brokerage, consulting and development teams work both individually and collectively to build momentum and credibility in the marketplace. We secure key retailers, office users and residents to jumpstart, as well as to attract, like-minded individuals to work, live, and play in the District. Our value connections often invest time, passion and money, creating a strong foundation. Our momentum and passion help to nurture long-lasting relationships and create a unique “sense of place,” turning our properties—and those of our clients—into the rebirth of a community.

TWC has made bold transformations, together with respective leaders, of underperforming districts and real estate vacancies. We help communities visualize the much-needed redevelopment and/or reboot, turning areas and historic buildings into talk-of-the-town destinations. Our partnerships create foundational concepts to attract customers and complementing businesses. For example, a full-service fitness club was strategically created to attract patrons 24/7, adding immensely to the energy level of the block. Coastal beachgoers who had not visited Downtown Norfolk in years are now strolling Historic Granby Street, enjoying the new walking district. These strolls turn into fast or fine dining, entertainment for all ages, and various service opportunities nearby—continually investing in Granby’s future. This contagious new attitude continues to spark an entrepreneurial wave of businesses and residents who call Downtown home.

As trends shifted to smaller footprints and flexible schedules, TWC partnerships created Percolator Creative Spaces and Coworking, one of the first and most popular coworking spaces in the area. Being the first of its type in Norfolk, Percolator trailblazed a new industry that attracts remote workers, entrepreneurs, and inventors. The marketplace continues to respond favorably, and our success renders regional and national shared office concepts the ability to grow and absorb Downtown’s vacant space. This attracted community engagement centers from Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University and Tidewater Community College. If you are looking to elevate, reboot, or reinvigorate your district or property, TWC Brokerage, Consulting, and Development would love to discuss collaborative opportunities to make a difference and “move the needle.” We are passionate about serving and helping others, and we look forward to hearing from you.
